Welcome to my sea angling website.

The site is an ongoing project to help log sea fishing marks around the beautiful Scottish coastline. It is designed to help recreational anglers and also any tourist who decides to visit this beautiful country.

All marks are split up into four main areas (Sections) with a break down of the counties. These being South West, North West, North East and South East.

With your help, I shall be able to build up a comprehensive guide to sea fishing shore marks around this fine nation. It won't guarantee you fish, but it will show you where to possibly find them.

Please feel free to send me comments about the website and also reviews on marks that you have visited.

Marks will be added as and when I fish them or people send me in the details about the mark. With all the marks I intend to post links for photographs with them to help the prospective angler get an idea of what the mark actually looks like.

Let me introduce myself....

My nickname is flounder_al. This is a user name that I use on the many fishing forums I frequent on the internet such as WSF or Fishing-Forum. Many of these forums can be found on the links page. In joining these forums you will have a wealth of experienced people at your disposal and also the chance to meet new fishing friends that could accompany you on a fishing trip.

I have been sea fishing since the age of 7, in both shore and boat disciplines. I have mostly boat experience, but I am now an avid shore angler. With this sport I have built up a passion for sea fishing and conservation over the years due to the rugged terrain and challenge that it throws at you in the pursuit of fish.

Be it a small whiting to an irate conger, I am always happy when I am fishing. Even blanking can be enjoyable some days. Mad thing to say? Well yes and no. Just because you blank does not mean you cannot enjoy the environment and challenge of fishing.

A big thank you also goes to yourselves for taking the time to look at this website. The feedback I am getting is invaluable and allows me to tune the website to what people would like to see in it.
